Retrospective observational study in Japanese T2DM patients evaluating once-weekly semaglutide's effects on vascular endothelial function (flow-mediated dilation or equivalent measure), motivated by baseline observation that circulating GLP-1 levels are lower in Japanese patients with CAD. Documents semaglutide-induced improvements in endothelial function in this population. Provides Japanese-specific evidence for semaglutide's vascular endothelial benefits—an important mechanistic endpoint for understanding GLP-1 RA cardiovascular protection in the Asian T2DM population where cardiovascular risk profiles differ from Western cohorts.
