Engineers a dual-crosslinked HAMA/PLMA hydrogel loaded with exosomes from thymosin β4-overexpressing adipose-derived stem cells (T-Exos) for diabetic wound treatment. T-Exos contained enriched TB4 cargo and stimulated angiogenesis, collagen synthesis, and macrophage M2 polarization in diabetic wound models. The hydrogel enabled sustained T-Exos release at the wound site, outperforming standard exosomes or TB4 alone. Combines TB4's pro-angiogenic and anti-inflammatory effects with exosome-mediated delivery for improved diabetic wound healing.
