Identifies thymosin β4 cytoplasmic-to-nuclear translocation as a dynamic marker of cellular stress in Caco2 intestinal epithelial cells. Under pharmacological stress and other cellular challenges, TB4 redistributed from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in a dose- and time-dependent manner. This translocation preceded other stress markers and provided a sensitive, early indicator of cellular stress responses. Validates nuclear TB4 localization as a biomarker for monitoring drug effects and cellular stress in epithelial cell models—applicable to gastrointestinal pharmacology research.
