Extends ¹H NMR spectroscopy characterization of thymosin β4's complex with the stabilin cytoplasmic domain (CTD). Determines thermodynamic parameters and protein-bound water dynamics at the TB4-stabilin interface, revealing heterogeneous protein-water contact regions. Both TB4 and stabilin CTD are intrinsically disordered but form stable 1:1 complexes. Provides physical chemistry characterization of the TB4-stabilin endocytic receptor interaction—mechanistically relevant to TB4's role in regulating growth factor receptor internalization (PMID 33784254).
