Tests combination therapy of thymosin β4 and human adipose-derived stem cells (hASCs) in a mouse hindlimb ischemia model. Exogenous TB4 enhanced endogenous Tmsb4x expression in hASCs, promoted cell elongation, and boosted VEGF secretion. In vivo, the TB4+hASC combination produced significantly better limb perfusion, reduced tissue necrosis, and improved muscle regeneration versus either treatment alone. Establishes TB4 as an hASC-potentiating adjunct for peripheral artery disease—extending the combination cell-therapy concept from cardiac to peripheral vascular ischemia.
