Uses TB4 epidermal-specific overexpressing and global knockout mouse models to systematically characterize TB4's mechanism in hair growth. TB4 overexpression accelerated hair regrowth after depilation and upregulated Wnt pathway components; TB4 KO showed delayed hair regrowth and altered follicle architecture. Identifies the Wnt signaling axis as a key molecular mechanism for TB4's hair growth promotion—providing the most comprehensive mouse genetic characterization of TB4's hair follicle biology and mechanistic basis for its alopecia therapeutic applications.
