Develops a microneedle array strategy to improve GHK-Cu skin delivery, addressing its poor penetration due to hydrophilicity. Microneedle pretreatment created microchannels that significantly enhanced GHK-Cu penetration in both in vitro cell and porcine skin models, demonstrating a safe and effective method for transdermal copper peptide delivery.
