Demonstrates thymosin β4 enhances fracture healing in a mouse bilateral fibular osteotomy model. TB4-treated mice showed a 41% increase in peak force to failure and 25% greater callus stiffness by biomechanical testing, with improved bone composition by micro-CT and histomorphometry. First evidence that TB4 accelerates bone fracture repair—extending TB4's tissue regeneration capabilities to the musculoskeletal system beyond its established cardiac, dermal, and corneal applications, and establishing a new indication for TB4 in orthopedic repair.
