Tests BPC 157 against morphine-induced analgesia in mice using the hot plate test. BPC 157 counteracted morphine analgesia with a 30-minute delay (vs. immediate reversal by naloxone). When haloperidol (dopamine antagonist) enhanced morphine's analgesia, BPC 157 counteracted this enhancement while naloxone restored baseline—showing BPC 157 acts through central dopaminergic rather than opioid mechanisms. Neither BPC 157, naloxone, nor haloperidol produced analgesia alone. Demonstrates interaction between dopamine-opioid systems in analgesia and positions BPC 157 as a dopaminergic modulator.
